Konstantin Döhr is a psychologist and conducts research at the interface of psychology and cognitive-affective neuroscience. During his studies, he already gained initial research experience as a research assistant in the Department for Cognitive Psychology at the University of Hamburg and at the Institute of Systems Neuroscience at the University Medical Centre Hamburg-Eppendorf.
He has been working as a PhD student under the supervision of Prof Ulrike Krämer at the Institute of Medical Psychology at the University of Lübeck since September 2023. In his doctoral thesis, he is investigating the gender-specific influences of stress on psychological processes. His aim is to find out to what extent gender can be operationalised as testosterone levels in this context.
Since August 2024, he has been an associate member of the integrated research training group of the Collaborative Research Centre ‘Sexdiversity - Determinants, Meanings and Implications of Gender Diversity in Sociocultural, Medical and Biological Contexts’ (CRC 1665).
