Luca completed his Master’s degree in Molecular Biotechnology and Bioinformatics at the University of Milan, where he developed a strong foundation in molecular biology and bioinformatics. During his thesis internship, he investigated the role of CXCL12-CXCR4 signaling in modulating angiogenesis, utilizing molecular, morphological, and transcriptomic approaches to study vascular development.
He is now a doctoral student in the subproject M05: Describing the metabolome of sex variability of the CRC 1665.
His research focuses on describing the metabolome of sex variability, exploring how metabolic differences are influenced by physiological sex diversity. By combining his expertise in bioinformatics with advanced metabolomics techniques, Luca aims to contribute to a deeper understanding of biological variability and its implications for sex diversity.
